Our mission

We translate complex project controls — Earned Value Management, schedule risk analysis, executive reporting — into free, intuitive tools any project manager can use. Our goal is to democratize the kind of project intelligence usually reserved for top-tier consulting firms.

What we build

Calculators, dashboards and AI assistants for cost performance (CPI), schedule performance (SPI), forecasting (EAC), risk and executive reporting — paired with educational content that helps you act on the numbers.

Who we serve

Project managers, PMO leaders, construction professionals, transformation programme directors, and the wider community of project-intelligence practitioners.

Editorial values

Every tool ships with formulas, interpretation guidance, examples and FAQs. We avoid spammy content and prioritize professional, useful, evergreen resources.

Our vision

PMMilestone.org exists to make serious, defensible project controls knowledge accessible to every project professional on the planet — not just the ones working inside large consulting practices or government PMOs. We believe that the gap between how projects are supposed to be controlled and how they are actually delivered is one of the biggest hidden costs in modern industry, and that a free, well-written, calculator-first Academy can move the needle on that gap one team at a time.

Our long-term vision is a global community of project controls practitioners who can pick up the SPI calculator on a Monday, read a forecasting article on a Wednesday, and ship a sharper EAC to their executive sponsor on a Friday — without paying a cent or attending a week-long course.

Our mission

Translate complex project controls — Earned Value Management, planning and scheduling, forecasting, risk and reserves, construction productivity, PMO reporting — into free, intuitive, formula-transparent tools that any project professional can use on a real project, today, without a sign-up wall.

Pair every tool with practitioner-written guidance so users do not just get a number, they understand what it means, why it matters and how to act on it.

What we cover

A complete project controls discipline, on one platform

PMMilestone.org is organised around the disciplines that hold every successful capital project together.

PMO

Frameworks, KPIs and reporting architectures for governance, portfolio assurance and executive visibility — the connective tissue between strategy and delivery.

Planning

Baseline development, work breakdown structures, milestone hierarchies, sequencing logic and the discipline of constructible, defensible plans.

Scheduling

Critical path analysis, float erosion, recovery scheduling, time impact analysis and forensic delay analysis grounded in real practice.

Forecasting

EAC, ETC, earned schedule, cash-flow forecasting and risk-adjusted forecasts that hold up under executive scrutiny.

EVM

From PV, EV, AC to SPI, CPI, SV, CV, VAC and TCPI — earned value as a working management tool, not an academic exercise.

Construction Controls

Productivity, labour efficiency, variation orders, subcontractor scoring and field-level reporting that connect cost and time to real site activity.

Our educational philosophy

We write the way an experienced project controls professional would explain a concept to a smart junior planner over coffee. That means: state the formula, work through a real example, name the common mistakes, and finish with the question of "so what do I do on Monday morning?". Every calculator on the Platform ships with this structure — formula, interpretation, use cases, mistakes, tips, FAQs.

We avoid the two failure modes that haunt most online project management content. First, we refuse to be a generic AI content farm — even where AI assists drafting, every article is structured by a working practitioner and reviewed for technical accuracy. Second, we refuse to be a gated walled garden — there is no paywall on the Academy, no email-required download for the calculators, and no artificial scarcity around the underlying knowledge.

We also take internal linking and reference structure seriously. The Academy is a hub; the tools are working examples; the insights feed is the running commentary; and the founder profile is the named, accountable author behind the editorial line. Together that produces the kind of E-E-A-T (experience, expertise, authoritativeness, trustworthiness) that both readers and search engines respect.

Finally, every recommendation is testable on a real project. If a calculator's result does not change the way a project is run on the following Monday, we have failed in our brief, no matter how much traffic the page earns.
